Channel Vista Guest House - Combe Martin

May 2016 - Present

The owners of the delightful Channel Vista Guest House, which is a pebble’s throw from the beaches at Combe Martin, an attractive village on the edge of Exmoor National Park are kindly displaying a whole range of my original art. A fine Victorian building, Channel Vista is close to the village centre and amenities, perfectly situated for holidays or short breaks.

Lou has one piece in the exhibition of prints of artwork on Worthing Pier. This year 'In the Woods by the River 2' has been chosen by the organisers - Creative Waves. Open all day every day and showing work by over 100 local artists.

Open all day every day. This exhibition is outside and shows prints of artworks by 100 local artists.

Also worth a visit at the sea end of the Pier is the newly refurbished South Pavilion, now open as a cafe and bar. Great coastal views!

Brit Poppy Art 2014, part of the Imperial War Museum's Centenary programme.

An exhibition to commemorate the centenary of WW1 & raise funds for veterans charities.

Lou exhibits 2 appliqué banners, 3m x 1m, originally made for the Red Hen Artist's 2004 exhibition in St Andrew's Church, Hove; now, at last, emerging from the back of the wardrobe to be seen once again as part of this exhibition with Helen, Annie (and her students), local Chichester artists.

Red Hen's 'Stairway to Heaven'.

An exhibition on the theme of icons and imagery, Christ The Cornerstone Community Centre, Hove, Sussex.

An exhibition in/theatrical dressing of the stairwell and upstairs cafe space of this Hove community centre by invitation of the Brunswick Festival, Hove.

'AlteRaTions'

As part of the Brighton Festival Fringe and by permission of the Churches Conservation Trust, the theme of this exhibition was 'icons & imagery' (religious and of the stage and silver screen).
